Seventh-day Adventistm the spirit behind the church video SDA Outreach - In Defense of the Truth
Seventh-day Adventism

The title "Seventh-day Adventist" stands for two things. The first is the "7th-day", in reference to the Sabbath--Saturday. Remaining in the title is "Adventist," which means appearing –emphasizing the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Although the title is simple and quite descriptive, the church is founded upon several other doctrines. All together comprising 27 fundamental beliefs, these doctrines are considered to be the pillar and ground of truth, chiefly Jesus Christ as the cornerstone and "The Truth."

Is the Seventh-day Adventist church truly centered on Christ the Rock, or is there a deceitful spirit lurking around the corners behind the scenes of Adventism?

Perpetuating Lies

I was amazed when I first began to realize that the questions and accusations being charged against the Seventh-day Adventist Church were responded to and answered almost 75 years ago. The critics today are disputing over Ellen White’s reference to amalgamation, a supposed prophecy predicting a war between England and the U.S., and Ellen White’s statements that we should never say that we are saved and that Adventists living in 1856 will be alive when Jesus returns. Unfortunately, it seems as though the critics have still neglected to consider the answers to these false accusations and therefore continue to spread lies about Adventism and Ellen White in our day.
